I just joined and hope to get some useful info as well as provide some of my own wisdom in the future... My name is Joe Carpenter, I work/live/gig in NYC. I have been a bassist for 17 years... it is my first love, I was never a guitarist, pianist, or other instrumentalist... I was drawn to music because of the bass and I still get the chills when I hear a good groove... I am recovering from surgery and will have some time to read/post/blog as I have some bed rest to look forward to... anywho, I just wanted to introduce myself and welcome anyone to drop me a line.
