Hello, My name is Josh and I am hoping to get a bass early January. Just wanted to introduce myself because I am sure I will be spending a lot of time on here once I get it. Well, lets see...I guess I will start with the bass I'm am looking at getting to get started with. I am seriously considering the Squier Affinity P Bass starter kit..you know..the one with the little amp and crap in it. For $300.00 it seems like a good deal to get started with. I have been wanting to learn bass for a long time now but things always come up and my Bass Fund seems to always deplete. This time it won't happen...I'm getting my bass for crying out loud. What really got me wanting to play bass (this is cheesy so watch out...lol) was Rockband. My friend loves playing lead so I was left with bass. I am so glad I was left with it because I was able to concentrate on the bass line and actually hear it.Needless to say..I love it. Then of Course I started scrounging around the net for bassists and...well Nikki Sixx is friggin' awesome. anyway I just wanted to say hey. Hope to learn a bass line hear soon. PEACE! |
