Hey everyone,
I'm a long time (30 years) guitar player that has always, and I mean always had a hankering for the bass. After years of jamming in bands and whatnot, I had a revelation. The real reason I started playing guitar in the first place was to impress the chicks and be the wild dude with the guitar! Now I realize that the coolest and coolest sounding thing is the bass. I'm converted. I just purchased a Warwick Covette Standard and for practicing a SWR LA12. I have a BBE sonic stomp to help give it a little bit more punch. For gigs I'm going to be getting the MarkBass 2x10 combo. I'm going to get my chops down a little bit with the practice amp first. Thanks for the welcome and hope to talk with you soon.
