Hello People

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been here a few times before but decided today to join up and start chatting in the forums. I have a bit of downtime at work and this would definitely make it go faster.

Little bit about me: Started playing 10 years ago on my dad's Kramer bass with aluminum neck after a friend of mine found a guitar in a dumpster. Played in two bands in high school (pretty much acoustic rock). Got really into Stanley Clarke but also Metallica. Began playing guitar 4 years later and got really into Dave Matthews Band and Jazz. Took private jazz theory lessons for a few years before going to college and playing in jazz band and taking a few improv classes and theory classes. Played bass in a Dredg/A Perfect Circle type band and lead guitar in a rock cover band. Graduated college and got a job back home. Now I'm playing with a solo guy who just wrote a hip/hop album.

Some of my equipment: Ken Smith CR5G (AAA Tiger Maple), Cort Curbow 6-String, Ibanez Sr800, Fender Squier(best starter bass ever), Carvin R600 Combo, Bass Podxt, EBS Bass IQ

I also have an American Strat, Ibanez AW acoustic drednought, and Crate V-series 50w

There's me in a nutshell, can't wait to meet some other low enders soon!

Dusty

ps.How do I get the little pic icon next to my name?

In order to get the little icon, you have to become a supporting member. I think it's only $20 for a year. Well worth it, IMO. I didn't become a supporting member till i was 18 [several years after i originally joined. ]
