Hello from St.Louis

It's great to find an active community for bassists. I'm an experienced player, but often get frustrated with the little importance that bass is given in the local rock scene. We're very under-appreciated. Anyway, I look forward to contributing!!

Nice to have you here dm1217. The more I learn and practice bass the more I realize how important bass can be to performance and composition.

So true, when you get better and better you begin to realize just how much power you have under your finger tips. You can change the mood of a song by changing the groove - you can decide which player to support or play against - or best; play to the audience and see them bob their heads on your bassline.

Welcome!

(sorry, got a bit carried away heh)
