Hello. I have lurked some around here at talkbass and decided it was finally time for an account. I started out playing guitar, but one day I picked up the bass and it so much better fit my playing style and personality. Also, being a tuba player for 6 years has had some transfer over to the feel and role of the bass. I play a squier vintage modified fretless jazz bass through an acoustic B100. Someday I hope to upgrade my equipment, but I am 18 and therefore have no money and it works well for me now
. I listen to most any kind of music, but my favorites are probably rock, soul, and jazz. I just got out of a rock band and am now a member of a jazz trio. Thanks for listening!
