Hi. I've been lurking awhile, but just signed up to say thanks to TB'ers for sharing their vast collection of gear knowledge.
I'm relatively new to playing bass (fmr guitar player, i know...) But having fun gigging again.
I had a short scale Squier jag for a bit but moved up to a MP Jaguar. It's now got Chromes, and sports a tort guard from WD. Excellent instrument.
I'm a total weekend warrior currently playing in a surf-punk outfit. So I just picked up a used TC electronic BG520 combo amp, which seems to be great so far. Should be perfect for those oddball warehouse gigs with no backline. Plan on using "The Beast" tone print for a couple fuzzed out songs.
Would be happy offer any opinions if you've got questions.
