Hello Thumpers!

Sign in to disble this ad
I'd been getting so much information here lately I thought I'd join and maybe can add a little something now and then. I'm a full time dad of two who used to play and sing in original blues/rock power trios a long time ago. It went pretty well there for a while but that was then. Being from the Valley Forge, PA area (since moved) I got to see Jaco play a few times and used to drink with his dad! FF a few decades, I still get to jam around sometimes and am still play a lot alone at home to try and keep in shape. When I was younger I had just about every kind of bass made but eventually returned to Fender P basses with either sanded down or jazz bass necks (I have smaller hands). My ultimate bass is merely a P-Bass body with a heavier bridge, better pickups and a graphite rodded Jazz neck. I used Ampeg, Sunn and Acoustic amps back in the day but now just have some little amps, the biggest being an Acoustic 100 watt 1-15 combo. Thanks for listening!
