Hello

My name is Kevin Hilman and I am new to bass guitar. I started in October of 2006 and love it! I have played trumpet for 27 years though and have a degree in music education from the University of Utah. I have played trumpet in numerous bands, jazz-bands and orchestras and have the opportunity to perform with such artists as Gladys Knight, the KingSingers, Angela Lansbury, John Williams and others.

I have recently been writing arrangements for a little band in which I play bass. We do covers of artists like Ozzy, Chicago, Cake, KISS and others. As a kid I really liked the bass sound of John Taylor from Duran Duran so I would have to say that he is my number 1 bass hero.
