Unhappy HELP!!!!! RUSTY BASS. NEED HELP!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey dudes n dudettes, I really need help on this one.

I'm taking the music lesson at my school and the bass is old, crappy & old strings, rusty pickups and rusty bridge.

So i can change the strings, but what about the pickups and the bridge?, is rusty pickups such a matter that they should be changed? and for the bridge, should I leave it there, try to take the rust off or put another bridge?

Hope you guys can help me before I make my own decision.

Does the bass work? Is it easy to play? If so, change the strings, wipe off the dirt and play. If not, drop by a music store and see what they can do.
