Hello there

I'm Nowitzky. My real name is Alessio and I'm a bass guitar player (maybe?) from Italy.

Hmm some infos on me: I'm 20 years old, studying Languages and Literatures on university, particularly English and Japanese. I plan to become a good interpreter when I'm done with study (which probably will be in 2050, but oh well).

As Bassist, I started playing when I was 18, but I've never got into it... just, like some months ago, a friend of mine told me about a project to create a Rock cover band, including pieces of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, CCR and more... so I just couldn't say no and I joined the scheme. Took again my Red Ibanez G10, the bass I used when I begun playing, and started practicing everyday... and I've got into it

If I have to say some bassist names, I'd say Donald 'Duck' Dunn and John Paul Jones are the ones I look up to the most... their sense of groove is something incredible, so I work to reach that ground, knowing it might take me a bit, lol.

I joined here for mainly a reason: making myself a knowledge about Bass. I don't know much, I can tell if a bass line is hard or not, if it sounds good or not... but about the instrument itself I'm really noob, so I'm hoping I can waste a lot of time here learning how "it works". Also I'm seeing it's plenty of good bassists here (with some wonderful bass guitars, as well ;D) so I just hope I can learn a lot of stuff.

Well, spoke a lot eheh. Hope we can get along well. Thanks for reading, greetings.
