Just found Talkbass. While shopping for gear on Ebay some folks mentioned it and here I am.
Wanted to say hey.
I've been playing for about 20 years now. Mostly hobbies / jamming / recording. Formerly many club gigs and some records.
I'm in search of the perfect gear. I've settled so far on a Japanese Jazz bass w/ EMG's and a Stingray Fretless.
Recently upgraded my amp from a Hartke 7000 to a Mesa M-Pulse 600. Playing through SWR Goliath IIs.
Looking to get some good FX and I really haven't a clue what to look for.
Into a heavier overdriven sound. Any recommendations?
