I'm fifteen years old, a Freshman in high school. I'm going to be taking over bass duties in the school's jazz band next year. I played the bass in my middle school's jazz band, and I'm also a tuba player, so I'm all over the low end. When I was in middle school, I didn't really listen to much music and I definitely didn't listen to the bass. Nowadays, I listen to a good range of music, with Muse and Dream Theater being two of my favorite bands (and John Myung and Chris Wolstenholme being two of my favorite bassists). I used a school bass (specifically, a Yamaha RBX170) in middle school and I'm looking at
this bass as my first personally owned bass.
