Hey&Help?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, I just found this forum through Google and I was hoping I could get some help here.
I'm Wobble, 17 years old, & I LOVE Bass. Simple as that.

Now, for the "Help?" part:

Somehow, on any Youtube song, I can NOT hear the bass, it simply doesn't output through my speakers. I'm using a 5.1 speaker system here on my pc and I have an epic subwoofer.
Now, how come, when I play a song on youtube with LOADS of bass, I can't hear the bass, yet when I download the song, it nearly blows up my subwoofer?
Anyone know how I might be able to hear the basslines on Youtube aswell? Thx.

Eyo. YouTube has pretty ****** audio quality, 192kbps being the max I believe, and 98ish on the 240p videos. But you also have to take into account the fact that it's streaming so quality will be chopped up for a good streaming rate. Generally bass is only prevalent in high quality audio, so the Internet won't transmit very much in that department. Just download the songs at a high bit rate, say 256-320kbps and you'll get it
