hey everyone

I'm new to this forum I've been reading it for a little while but finally have registered after my first bass build ever. (there will be MANY more in the future)

my name is Josh and i would prefer to be called that on the forums rather than my user name coz its just me.

Hopefully i can get alot of input and i know i will get TONS of inspiration from the great people on this forum in the many basses i will be making in the future

Expect to see alot of me!! I'm gonna get right in the thick of it all!!

Cheers,
Josh

Thumbs up Self made bass…

I'd like to see your ax too, I'm a carpenter and am considering constructing my own bass, as I'm tired of looking at all those same-same looking, horny, jazz bass imitations. (Oops, hope you've done something new looking).

well actually.... its pretty much a typical jazz bass....
the body is queensland maple, its the vintage jazz bass pick-ups positioning but with a precision neck....
well its my first bass built so i wanted to just create something cool that i could really play alot and learn all the basics of making a bass.
i'm gonna keep on making bass's after this so i'm gonna do something unique for sure.
