A friend just linked me here a couple of days ago, and I've been reading up on a lot of things...
The SX bass thread has really got me in a GAS-y mood. Haha.
I've been playing bass "seriously" for about a year, and I've been getting instruction for about eight months. I don't read tab at all, and I barely read staff(I was relatively fluent in staff, but since I left the school's band, I've lost my touch with it.)
I suppose my gear is midline to totally mediocre, and I guess it's befitting of my skill.
I'm rambling, but yeah. I need new strings.
