I'm semi-new to the bass (still most likely a beginner)
I started off by being handed down a bass.
no amp or anything, just the bass, for at the time was just fine.
I've progressed alittle and am familiar with most of the fretboard :P
Although -now- having an amp (peavey max 110) I have learned about muting :S
I'm not sure how to progress forward though, and I am actually decent at the slap bass technique (not any true lines however)
So I thought I should join here :P
I have an affinity p bass, although cheap, I like it's tone, when I get the money, I'm getting an ampeg and the deluxe jazz bass.
But for now the affinity does me fine.
