I started playing guitar when I was about 12, still going strong in my 50th year, got a SG 61 reissue for 50th birthday, Yummy Yummy also own a Goldtop played through valves, of course, no effects just a Marshall and Gibson.. Had the urge for a bass for a while, for recording (toneport UX2 and Cubase SX3).. So I bought a Peavey 4 string bass, been playing it through bands PA and a DI box linked through one channel of a Behringer Multicom Pro XL 4600.. sounds ok but thought I could do with a small combo (any more gear in the house and it's the shed for me) went into local muso shop and thrashed out a deal on a Line 6 Lowdown studio 110 combo, good sound, DI and pre amp out, still in my first steps with the bass but I think the bug's bitten.. any way enough rambling time for a twiddle.. I'm looking forward to being a member and hopefully contributing.. check out our band at
