So I am a bass player who has strayed from the true faith and taken up guitar playing. Its easy to do when you don’t have folks to jam with. Anyway I did the Jazz and Stage band thing in school and then played in a number of local bands both original stuff and covers (classic rock mostly).
I was drafted into playing Bass at 13 as because my buddies already played guitar, piano and drums. An additional benefit is that I have what I like to call a “bass player’s build” i.e. I am 6’5” and stout, put a P-Bass on me and I look like most guys holding a Stratocaster

Anyway, I would like to get into the bass thing again as I am a mediocre guitarist but a competent bass man. Now all I need to do is find some 30+ guys to jam with.
