I am a fledgling bass player having made the switch from guitar and before that many years of piano (still have to concentrate not to slip into reading fretboard diagrams as music staves....!) I have a small bass - a Samick short scale (which has already been the subject of some gentle scorn in the forums tee hee) - it's mine and I love it. I am excited to have discovered this immense resource and community and I can't wait to start soaking it all up.
