I'm new to TalkBass and electric bass. Since I'm teaching myself from YouTube and sites like this one, it seemed like a good idea to join. Therefore, hello all of you!
I've played double bass for ten years -- only classical, I think I have good music theory but I've never really played these newfangled styles before.
I've owned an electric bass for four or six years, but of course it's only now that I'm studying away and have to leave all my instruments at college that I decide to learn slap bass. So naturally I immediately had to go buy a $160 instrument for the 2 more months I'd be here. As long as the store was telling the truth about buying it back...
