First post. . . .
Reeeealy new to the bass. Just brought home a Squier Fender Vintage Jazz Bass with frets. Using my daughters amp she got with her Garrison acoustic. She's away at college and not using it.
My first and only guitar before this was a Giannini classical I bought in the late '60's.
The bass has always interested me so I finally decided, what the heck, do it . . . so here I am. And, yes, I'm one of those who initially thought the bass was easier, but after watching Victor Wooten on YouTube I got a real education!
I'm enjoying lurking and learning for now. Will contribute when appropriate. |
