Talking Hi, I'm bassdrummer.

Hi! I'm bassdrummer from the Low Down Lowdown bass forum. Wraub invited me here. I've played drums for over 20 years and bass for over 20 months. I'm here to answer all of your drumming questions and to ask all of my bass questions.

I live in Visalia, CA halfway between the Guitar Center in Fresno and the Guitar Center in Bakersfield in the hot, hot fertile farmland of the San Joaquin Valley. I'm a fifth grade teacher at a public school and a drum teacher out of my home in my spare time. I play bass and drums at my church. I'm looking forward to becoming a dad; my wife's due in December. I have a cat named Sherbet who hides from my drum students and chases the little reflections of light on the carpet from my bass's tuning keys. I root for the Oakland Raiders, L.A. Lakers, and L.A. Dodgers, but don't hold any of that against me; I just gotta represent.

My current basses are:

1. G&L Tribute L2500 Premium (Ash) five string in amber finish

2. Standard MIM Fender Jazz four string in three color sunburst with "Geddy Lee" modifications (Badass II bridge and U.S. Original Vintage '62 Jazz pickups) and a sweet tortoise shell pickguard

3. Standard MIM Fender Precision four string in black with a white pickguard, strung with Lakland Joe Osbourne signature flatwounds

My current amplification:

1. Yorkville Bassmaster XM50C combo (1x10 and 50 watts)

2. SWR LA-15 combo (1x15 and 100 watts)

My drum gear:

Way too much (and probably too boring) to most of you to list! Top of the line Yamaha drums, DW hardware, and Sabian cymbals

Looking forward to meeting you!

Danny

Welcome, danny, to TalkBass.com!

Hope you enjoy it here. There's a bunch of great people on the boards with tons to talk about.

Please take this time to review the rules of the forum, if you haven't already.

Also, remember to view the stickies at the top of each sub-forum to check for other FAQ and policies in place.

Happy Posting!

Bob Clayton
