Hello all,

My name is Billy, I'm new to this forum. I've been playing bass for about 4 years now, all electric, but I need to get more into the upright. I plan to go off to college for the bass soon, but I need upright experience, so I may have a few questions on buying, playing, etc.

I look forward to getting better acquainted with this board and all of you guys on it.

Feel free to post any upright questions you have in our Upright forum. There are a lot of knowledgeable guys there, including orchestral and jazz players. Some of them are full time working professionals.

They should be able to help with any of your questions.
