Hi, I'm a new member today.................

Hi,
This is my first post on here, and i have a few q's, not easy navigating round this, with so many seperate forums!!
Are most members from the USA, UK, or elsewhere?, difficult to say, from what i've read.
I'm from the UK, i used to play bass in a band, until new family addition took precedent. I love vintage basses, particularly Fender.
I have an original '57 P-Bass, with anodised guard etc, a prototype sampler issue, JV Jazz bass, from April '82, and a '51 reissue Precision, that i have just completed my own 'relic' job on, i must admit, it looks the business. I also have a Takamine jumbo acoustic, for those quiet moments.
I was considering selling the '57, to fund another early P-Bass. Which is the best method of advertising a specialist instrument like this ? (eBay, trade with a dealer, private ad-where?)

Hopefully, someone may be able to help.

Anyway, hopefully, i'll enjoy my time, surfing these pages.

Cheers

Rick

welcome! i think most here are USA. There is a forum
to sell stuff here if you are a contributing memer. might
try there -- though if your bass is in great shape by any chance, i would probably just keep it and let it appreciate more.
