Well, after abour 3 years + of playing I tought it was about time to join a forum.
I`m 33 years old dude from Trondheim, Norway and share the same passion as most here, bass and gear
Have had some time in a band called 55Escape(check out myspace) and are now crrently in a "wedding-band" playing for weddings, x-mas parties and so on. Good money and live experience with the the catching name of : Frogjive.
Currently have 4 basses:
1973 oct black 4001 Rickenbacker
1992 black stingray(currently without paint). Got it from my brother who made it fretless and with a Kahler trem
) Getting it back to normal.
1964 reissiue sunburst jazz bought in parts of Ebay(original 65 bridge and tuners + some 70ties parts). About to get it reliced in the right lacuer and really beat up looks.
2005 Carl Thompson TRIBUTE made by the norwegian luthiere Helge Listerud. 32" short scale with Kahler trem.
On jobs I play trough the PA but got an old fender 18" cab(missing the 2 10" speakers) a 4x8" Ashdown with a GallienKreuger RB2001 head.
After 3 years just messing around learning Beatles, Elvis and Creedence etc. It`s about time to expand the horison. I consider myself a beginner and hope to get some help structurerising my playing and gettin to the next step. My theory S*** and I don`t know where to start. Now the Major Minor scale and modes but just can`t seem to get on from there or to get my sound/feelings out through my fingers.
My mental state best described as: Arrrgghh!!
