My name's Sam. I've been playing guitar for 7 yrs now but never even picked up a bass guitar. I have 4 guitars right now - Schecter Hellraiser 7 string, Jackson DK2T with a Mike learn graphics, Jackson DK1 (USA) and a Jackson SL2HT (USA). Can you tell I love Jackson guitars?
I mostly play metal.
My "ideal" bass guitar would be a Charvel or a Jackson pointy. But not sure if I want them as my very first one. I will be playing the bass guitar through an AXE FX Ultra.
I was reading another thread and many were recommending a Squier Vintage Modified or a SX from Rondo. But I've never been comfortable with the 12" radius necks of Fenders and not sure what to make of the squier. Never handled a SX bass either. Anyway, the search is exciting. Great forum and hope to get to know more about basses and some members.
