Hi. Bought a bass about 6 months ago. I played bass about 12 years ago for a church I was going to, which had a bass but no bass player. I'd played some guitar and piano, so I took it up and fell in love with what it does to the sound of a band. Just hitting the low G in a E/G chord, shows what the songwriter was thinking about the harmony and would have completely missed something without it. I just learned Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" and am learning "Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day. -Scott |
