Hi fellow rockabilly bassmen Just a line to let you know a little about me. I started playing Bass guitar in the late 50s. I still have an original HAGSTROM bass I bought about 1960 and it still is original and plays well, I like it as much as my Fender precision I named it the "RED ROCKABILLY DEVIL". I also play a hot ROCKABILLY piano. The most important part of my introduction message is in 1957 I started singing and writing songs and in 2006 I got inducted into the ROCKABILLY HALL OF FAME and received my first GOLD RECORD for a song I wrote and recorded in 1958 titled "ROCKING ON THE MOON" a song still selling some 50 yrs. The key to it all is I started with Rockabilly music, and I still do it today,so stay with what you like and it will and can pay-off. I also was honored to record with DJ FONTANA, CHARLIE HODGE and the former members of the ELVIS PRESLEY band and the legandary JORDANAIRES, and I also did three concerts with them, but I,m not an ELVIS impersonator I'm ROCKING RONNIE SANDO and proud of that. I made it being my own person.All you ROCKABILLY BASSMEN and I've heard some of you wail stay in touch and "GOOD ROCKING"...............
