Hi Fellow Bassists,
I felt like I had come home when I found this site. What a great place to learn and chat with other bass players - the best people in the world. I have played classical for many years and curently play in my local community orchestra. I bought a Washburn electric bass this summer and enjoyed getting back into funk and jazz, even for a little bit. Once upon a time in my long ago past I owned a '74 Precision, which I had to sell as a starving student. I know the Washburn is no replacement, but it looks pretty and balances surprisingly well for the cost. Any tips from you dual players out there on how to go from double bass fingerings (ie. using fourth finger) to electric bass fingerings? |
