Have just joined today, hi to you all. I can't believe this amazing site; I found it by chance when I wanted some pick-up info.
I play jazz of all kinds in England, mainly with two dixie bands but freelance as well. I use a Meinel 3/4 bass, Underwood pickup going via a Fishman Pro EQ preamp into a GK. If I need a bit more headroom (outdoors) I also double up with an SWR 12" monitor. I've never bettered this combination. |
