Hiya Everyone!

Late last Summer, I found my way into the Talk Bass website. I sold my late husband's Kay S-8 via this great website, met some fantastic people on here and personally met a two wonderful folks in Terre Haute, IN.

Now that the holidays are over, I'm in a position to start selling my late husband's other instruments. I have a variety of fiddles, a dobro that's been described as "mint condition" and this beautiful banjo. The banjo......even tho I am not a musical instrument expert.....really is pretty. It's got a clear face board (see non-expert statement above) - the part where the bridge is - where you strum the strings - it's clear - and the entire fretboard (is that a word???) has lotsa mother-of-pearl inlay.

My inquiry is this: I know that this website is really for basses. Does anyone have an interest in seeing any of the above-described instruments. If so, say the word, and I'll post the necessary pictures/prices on here.

I hope everyone had great holidays and I wish you all the best for a healthy and happy Twenty-Ten!!

Sue

Hey, supersue- I'm not sure how the DB side looks at this(I'm primarily a bass guitarist)but on the BG side you need to be a supporting member to discuss selling anything, otherwise the thread is seen as a veiled *FS*ad.
Beyond that, *fretboard* is indeed a word, & I think the paert of the banjo you're describing is known the 'head'
Most importantly, welcome(back? )to TB.
