I have been nagged into making an introduction for myself by the system

I'm Suusi and I'm an electronics engineer from the UK with an obsessive interest in Tube amplifiers who happens to play the Guitar and I do have a Bass..... a cheap Precision bass clone, though I shudder to call myself a bassist.
Amps: Laney 70 watt, Kelly Soundmaster 60, Trace Elliot GP7SM 300 and a Pheonix PHA1
Anyways I have been reverse engineering the early Ampeg V4 amplifiers, and running them through an electronics simulator to see how well they perform and just how hard they can be driven.
Strictly speaking I have been reverse engineering all the tube amplifiers that I can, to understand the mind set of their designers, before designing a range of my own.
