Hey everyone, how's it going?
A bass guitar teacher I take some lessons from pointed me in the direction of TalkBass, and I'm really glad there's a place for us to chill out online and get help from fellow bass players.
I've been playing trombone for years now, and just recently decided to finally learn the bass guitar, since I've always wanted to. I've been playing for around 6 or 7 months, but I feel like I'm making some good progress. Since it's my second instrument, I feel like I'm picking it up at a pretty decent pace.
Anywho, I plan to study upright bass in college, and to explore bass as much as I possibly can. I definitely enjoy it more than any instrument I've ever played, including the trombone, which has been a part of my life for so long.
So to wrap up, I'm glad to be in the forums, and I hope to have some good discussion with everyone !
