Hello people,
Third (fourth?) rate bass player here from the UK. Kent to be precise. Previously a reasonably active poster on BassChat until a number of "misunderstandings" earned me a 30 year ban. On a positive note, I think I only have another 28years left to serve.
Currently without band as I've just returned from a year long trip around the world. Good to be back now though, and good to be back in the saddle bass playing wise. Should be moving to New Zealand in a few months,so keen to hear about any bass playing opportunities in that neck of the woods.
Currently playing a 2007 MIA Fender Jazz, mostly through a Tascam Bass Trainer - no point making a noise without a drummer. Got a few bits to sell as well before i Leave the country, so a few for sale threads to follow.
My musical taste is defined by a disproportionate hatred of Jazz and loathing of progressive metal. Don't mind a bit of classic rock, country, blues, UK Indy, Reggae, Ska, Mod etc. Playing wise, I'm truly terrible. Sometimes I get really down about it and go into the woods and just sit there and smoke 20 Bensons. Other times, I hang outside my ex girlfriends house trying to get a glimpse of her. I even once manged to salvage one of her hairs off her pillow case which was cool.
Anyway, that's all you're getting.
