I'm looking for an electric bass teacher in Vancouver, British Columbia. I'm interested in learning funk and slap bass. Any suggestions?

Welcome to TB!

There's online resources to supplement what your teacher brings to the lesson, and I've just ordered a great Hal Leonard book: 'Funk Bass' with CD by Kringel! If you want to look for it, refer to ISBN: 0634067109. Keep in mind that most teachers are average, and it is a process (changing instructors) to find a good one for most of us.
