Hey guys i'm new here and sorry to make my first post a need help
post but....
I'm not a total noob to bass, ive been playing since 2004. But I have a question pertaining to tone. I have a YamahaRBX370 P/J bass with active electronics I'm looking for the growling type sound you get from a MM Stingray.
Other than buying a stingray, is there anyway i can get that growl from my bass, pickup brand, strings, action/intonation, if theres anything I can do to get this tone and you guys can help, please let me know, i would REALLY appreciate it, thank you in advance for any help
