Basicvoodoo child here. Getting back to bassin after a 15+ year break.Found TB from a ref. on the Alembic Club.Great info on putting a new Badass II on my 66 jazz, as well as fingerboard coatings. Thanks all.So I'm old! My first real bass is a Coleman. Ran on white gas with a hand pump on the tank.LOUD but not so good for playing indoors.Converted to propane and finaly to electric. Current rig is a Carvin LB70, walnut body, 5pc maple/walnut neck thru, active/passive, Alembic F-1X, 600 watt Crown power thru 4x12 and 1x18 cabs. I'm lovin it. The neighbors......not so much.
Right now the '66 is hanging upsidedown in the kitchen with a few drops of 3 in1 soaking the truss rod. It is STUCK & too much bow for a fretless. Any tips, or should I start a thread on Set up/repair, Luthiers corner? Ciao. |
