Hey all,
Decided to join up as i visit the site alot and pretty much every time i google something bass-like, i end up being directed here so thought it was about time. Anyway, been playing bass for about 15 years after changing over from guitar and havent looked back since. Ive more or less been in a band solidly since i was about 14 with the only exceptions being while i was traveling and while i was looking for a new band to join. Got to the stage now where im 28 and i want to make bass my career, which led me to this site this time while looking for info and advice on becoming a session player. Love playing in bands but as we all know, its no guarantee of a career, so i would love to do something that still involves playing and also gives me the freedom to play my own stuff in a band on the side.
