Hi everybody. I just joined the forum. I started off playing bass after seeing Cream in Detroit at Olympia Statium 1968. Jack Bruce changed my life. I've gone though many changes and types of music from things like the MC5, to free form Jazz, Big Band, Oldies, you name it. Even at 54 years old I still play. I live and play in Denver now. I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you.

Hey there. Well I'm looking for a new band here in the Denver area. The group I play only plays from November to April and then we stop and then re-asemble in the fall. This seems to be a very active site. One of the reasons I joined was that I just ordered a Aphex Aural Exciter w/ Big Bottom. I hoping to get some advise on setting. I saw the some reviews on the stomp box version, but I think one has more features. My name comes from when I first started playing bass in my parent's basement. When people would ask my mom about how I was doing she would say "He sits downstairs and just goes Boom, Boom, Boom. It doesn't like he's playing any songs..."
