Question Information on Wilfer upright basses

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everyone!

I'm Bryan and I live in Queensland Australia. I've been a bass player for many years, both upright and electric, jazz and straight.

I am considering buying a 1990 Wilfer Bass. It's in great condition and sounds really good. I have just one concern before I pass over the legal tender, and that is the scale length! At 43 and a half inches, this is the longest scale I have played on.

Do other bass players play uprights with a similar scale length, and if so, what are their experiences?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers

Bryan
