Intro to me

I brought my first bass home when I was 16. And not having a clue, I figured I'd better buy something to show me how to use it. I don't think I ever got past the chapter on how to tuning but that still hasn't stopped me none! I bought a used amp and thus began my carreer as a solo bassist. Perhaps I should mention by "solo" I mean I've never been in a band. I'm not sure exactly why, but I prefer just rocking out on my own. Occasionaly I would jam with friends which always seemed to lead to hours of "what do you know's?". I have been on stage or in front of small crowds a few times but that's for other post's . I do enjoy learning new things though and hopefully, that is what I'll get from TalkBass. That being said...

I am currently playing an Aria Pro II Cardinal series which I got around 86ish (and believe it or not...I still have the original strings. Hmm.....something for my G.A.S list maybe???
