That almost sounded grandios and I am surely not.
My name is Archie and I play electric and Upright bass. Bass wasn't my primary instrument but over the years it has become one of my favorite. It's cool to "hold down the bottom."
I'm a music educator in NC and a performer as well. I play with a local R&B group, a community orchestra; I'm a church music minister and perpetual gear hound looking for that "perfect" bass. Haven't found it yet but looking. Since this is a dedicated bass forum, seemed like the place to be.
I consider it a privilege to be here.
