Hello Talk Bass!
First of all, thanks for being here! You guys have really helped me find the answers to my questions about playing and about gear over my first 4 years of playing the bass.
Now music is becoming a more important part of my life, I thought I would start adding what I have learned from my experience to the forums. I am currently trying to break out of my intermediate level of playing and I'd consider myself tipping slightly into the pro end of the spectrum in some areas. Please don't take that to mean that I have an ego, or think I'm amazing by any means. Music is a life long journey, and I'm glad to be along for the ride.
I love playing Jazz, Rock and Roll, and Blues. I'm somewhat of a gear fanatic, though I've come to terms, that I also love the gear I have, so I'm not nearly as bad as I used to be!
I'm helpful. So if you have any questions about playing, gear, writing, booking, leading a band, recording, or whatever, ask away. I'll help as best I can, and also let you know when I don't know!
