hi everyone! ive been meaning to do this for awhile now. i am adrian garcias daughter lauren. i wanted to start writing on here just to keep in touch with some of my fathers friends. about a week ago was one year that he has been gone. i miss him so much. i actually have tears right now as i write this.

im going through alot in life right now and i just wanted to have a place to go to - even if its online- to get my mind off of everything and relax. thank you so much to everyone for their kind words. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Lauren, you came to the right place! Adrian was loved and very respected here on TB. I was one of his many friends. Not a day goes by that I am not reminded of him in some way. We talked a lot on the phone, and wrote back and forth, but I never got to meet him in person. That is a great regret of mine, I should have found a way to make it happen. But I definitely knew your father, I knew his heart.

I'm sorry you're going through a lot in your life right now, if you ever need to talk, PM me. I'm a good listener.

wow. you feel that way about him without even meeting him. that makes me feel so good. i really wish you could have met him. he was an amazing guy, and i would have thought that even if he wasnt my dad. thank you so much.

Welcome Lauren. Your dad was one of the coolest guys to ever grace us here on TB. He was a great player and an even better individual and always had cool stuff to say. I hope you like it here.

thank you! im sorry i cant come on here more often. i love bass, but im not a player so i cant really get into the technical conversations. i know he would always be on here though, and when i get a little sad i like to read all the incredibly nice things everyone had to say about him.

He was an inspiration to us all, and a really great guy. I miss him. I don't post on here too much any more, but I try to make it mean something when I do. I sent you a link in a PM, hope you use it!
