Whats up everybody,
Just joined today, Have been playing guitar for a long time and have been asked to take over vocals and bass for a project tribute band to Metallica. Have always been a fan of Metallica, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Motor Head, Pantera, Ozzy, Judas Priest, pretty much anything with aggressive adrenaline riffs but usually draw the line on death metal ( the singer's individual demonic noises usually bust me up and I can't help but laugh outloud most of the time.) Anyways, I have started looking into the bass configuration that was Cliff Burton's (R.I.P) personal set up and would appreciate any input that you may have. It seems that Mr. Burton's personal style is somewhat of a mystery because there is more than one claim as to the actual layout. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
