I just got a bass on Friday, and found out about this site through googling and thought I should join.
I got into bass the same time I got into my current favorite band: Flaw. I don't know why, but I got to listening to Ryan Jurhs on bass and fell in love with the sound right away. It wasn't until years after that I actually got into bass, though.
After about a year or so of wanting a bass, I finally got one. It's not the best of basses (Ibanez GSR100), but I hear it's pretty decent for a beginner. Don't know what else to say, so I'll leave it at that. |
