I never new about this site til a recent google search for a wiring diagram. I've been playing bass over 20 years, 10 years making a partial living with it. I know gigs, but I have almost zero technical knowledge. Browsing around, I feel like I should know a lot more about electronics than I do. I don't mind soldering, but I couldn't tell you the ratings (or even how they're measured) on any of the pots I've replaced, eg. Maybe that will change if I spend some time here.
I like Fender on my headstocks and Ampeg on my heads. I also have a few kids and make part of my living as a graphic designer.
