Okay well, that's the slightly awkward initial chat up out of the way. I've reg'd here as a refugee from bassworld.co.uk which seems to have bitten the dust.
I didn't really take part much there, just lurked and bought and sold a few goodies, but will try to bring a little more to the boards here.
I've been playing for 20 years now, currently in a functions/club band called Thick-as-Thieves on the S. Wales and West scene and did a stint at the Musician's Institute in London in the early 90s.
I'm not the flashiest of players, but not a plodder either I like to be melodic and tasteful as much as possible and cut loose when it's appropriate.
Anyway, enough about me, you come here often?
