Hey everyone, here's my intro.
I'm a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and I'm a future bassaholic.
I decided that I would like to begin playing the electric bass guitar and have found this site on the net. I played trombone all throughout highschool and now that I'm in college I'd like to start playing music again...and that instrument is the bass.
I am planning on purchasing my equiptment during the first half of Jan. 2007 (when student loans show up) and have found that I have a GuitarCenter, a MusicGoRound, and some local shops to choose from.
The Ibanez GSR200 seems to be a popular choice for beginners on this forum, I'd like to stick to around $200, but if anyone has another model that they would suggest, go ahead.
You guys/girls seem very cool, can't wait to become an active member. |
